Plummer Block Housings

Plummer Block Housings help to form Bearing units, with Self- aligning Ball Bearings & Spherical RollerBearings. They permit flexibility in the choice of Bearing, location on Shaft, Seals & lubrication. Made onmodular principle using Cast Iron HT 200 JIS 5501, KMTT Housings are available in a wide range of sizes to suitvarious application requirements.

To allow slight adjustment in the position, KMTT Plummer Block Housings have two elongated holes forattachment bolts. The Bearing seat in the Housing bore is designed for non-locating Bearing arrangements.Bearing can move slightly in either direction to compensate Shaft elongation, which may happen due tothermal expansion.

Generally Bearings used in the Plummer Blocks are lubricated with grease, and since it lasts for a longertime, Plummer Blocks do not have re-lubrication holes. However, Bearing performance should be periodicallymonitored to ascertain re-lubrication requirements.
